On the eve of our 250th Birthday, we face a clear & present danger to our lives, our liberties, and our pursuit of happiness.

250 years ago, Americans formed Committees of Correspondence & Minuteman Companies - and fought to defend their lives, their homes, their freedoms, their rights as English subjects. And then, when forced into it, they Declared Independence, and built a New Nation, a Novus Ordo Seclorum… sealed with E Pluribus Unum, Out of Many One.

In 1861, we fought a Civil War to preserve our government of the people, by the people, for the people.

100 years ago, we vanquished Spanish Flu, then Dust Bowl, Great Depression, Nazis, and later Soviets. We made desserts bloom, went to the Moon, networked the planet & our minds.

Now, again, Our World Burns, our Infrastructure Crumbles, Tyrants Rise to Power, while We the People share cat pictures & porn, play online games. We have fallen asleep at the wheel, monsters rise from the Id of our hive mind, and we again fight Civil War.

Are We the People ready to organize & mobilize? To organize at home & on the net? To refresh the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots & tyrants?
